Thanks Mrs Sparkle - fluffy will be signed up before he knows it
I reckon I could refer him too for a little extra :rotfl:The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Mrs_Sparkle wrote:Or....do what I did and get married. Change all your cards into your married name (Scouser, maybe?) but keep a credit card in your old name. Worked for Coral and I'm hoping it'll work for a few more when I manage to get the laptop away from hubby who's desperately trying to catch up with my profits.
Get him signed up to MSE and he can join our challenge :T
:hello: Mr Sparkle
And I dont think SS's asked me to marry himThe early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

But anyways, my brother comes round for dinner. We're all talking round the table as you do and we get on to the subject of money!
He's talking about freeing up some money to start saving and in a jokey way said about paying off some debts first (think he's got an OD and small CC balance). Anyway my mum does her nut telling him he has no excuse for getting into debt blah blah! _pale_
Didn't know where to look or what to say!
Sorry to hear this story SS, how awkward for you to listen to (((hugs)))
You might think your mum would be disappointed in you if she found out about your debt... you might be right... but would she be disappointed in all the efforts you've made and the huge success you're having in paying it off? No, I don't think so. You have a lot to be proud of and she'd surely be proud of you too if she knew the half of it. Much better to bring up kids who have the strength to cope with difficult situations, instead of hoping they'll have the luck to avoid them.
In other matters... what do you think to my christmassy avatar?! I know you're not too fussed on christmas, neither am I, but it took me a while and so I'm proud of it :cool:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
