Hope things are looking brighter regarding your tackle this morning ss.:A
Of course you should replace your fishing gear. As has been said but perhaps it needs saying again, you have done REALLY well and it is a delight for all of us to watch your debt figure go down, the matched betting figure go up and your dfd come ever forward.
Look at it this way, what keeps you going and motivated? Well of course it goes without saying, we do, but what else?
Seems like it's fishing to me, SO if you don't replace the gear you'll be an (even more than you are at this moment) miserable git, will have no energy for matched betting, or for coming on here, will rapidly therefore sink into despair, despondency and a cheerless half life causing you to (hush say it quietly) spend on the ccs:eek: ......to get more fishing gear, car mats, and hair cuts. This site will go into spiralling terminal decline without your drole humour and avuncular kindness and Martin will lose face thereby.:money:
So case proved you owe it to yourself,(not to mention Martin and the dfw's) to re-energize so GET SOME FLIPPING TACKLE:DCCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -

Get some sleep to start with, everything looks a whole lot worse when ya tired!!
So sorry to hear ya got ya fishing stuff nicked, there are some right theiving barstewards out there. But they will get their comeuppence!! Trust me what goes around comes around and they will pay!!
Now I know ya got ya debts, but ya do also need something that gives you pleasure to help give ya the strength to carry on with paying them off!! Yes it will take some money away from your debts if you get new stuff, but on the other hand there is no point sitting miserable and regretting.
Put the theives out of ya mind, they ain't worth any more of ya thoughts at all. Scum don't deserve thinking about full stop!!
Get yerself some more fishing gear, you deserve to give yourself a treat after how much work you put in. And you deserve it all the more for being such a rock to people on here, you give so many others the strength to help themselves through their times of need even tho you have so much on yourself!!
If I don't hear soon that you have started to get some I will come search ya out and kick yer up yer rear end and drag ya out to get someI live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here0 -

Well the insurance company have said they are going to replace the gear which I'm a bit disappointed by to be honest!
I'd be surprised if they could though coz it's a wide old range of stuff but alot of it I don't use anymore so would have preferred the money to buy better but less stuff! :doh:0 -
Oh hun that's a shame. As you say though they might have trouble tracking down what they need. At least you were insured though- it could have looked a whole lot worse than this.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Still gonna make a £500 loss though so was hoping that would be eaten up by tackle I don't use anymore!
Oh well! It's only money!0
