Hey hey! I'm alright thanks
Have been a bit miserable lately so been keeping myself entertained with freebies, competitions, pigsback and the like rather than spending money :T
Always end up back on DFW though
Haven't seen moozie about for a bit either, hope all's ok!

Well I haven't got much to report really.
Am waiting until the end of the month when my Tesco card will be clear to phone them up and see if they can offer me a good balance transfer rate. My suspicion is no and limit is only £600 but I will cancel it if not.
My Egg card is £5 in credit! Will have to phone them and get it refunded. Am going to keep my Egg card because I use the Egg Money Manager which is really handy but my limit is only £500 now. Before my lightbulb moment it was £8,000 or something crazy!
Will then wait a month or so before applying for a new low life of balance card which if accepted (fingers crossed) will get my Capital One rate down. It's rather messy as some of it is at 3.9% and some at 12.9%! Hopefully I can get a 4.9% card!
Think things are going to be tight this month. Have got to work out what payments I have left to come out of my account. Really, really don't want to go in the overdraft, even by a penny!
Gonna have a big test next month when I have a week off of work! I always spend a fortune when I'm off! Either going fishing or buying takeaways coz I'm bored! Am gonna see if I can do some shifts at work and get paid for them!
Sorry it's a bit of a pointless ramble. Just helps to see it written down!0 -
 :wall:  :wall:
Have just done my sums and I have exactly £114.01 to see me through to pay day in 20 days!
Out of that I have to pay mobile phone bill, roughly £35, get my hair cut £7, and petrol. Will probably be £40ish!
That leaves me with £32 which I should be able to manage on but got a bad feeling I'm gonna have to dip into my Budweiser bottle savings! :rolleyes:0 -
Don't worry SS you are sure to think of something to help you through the month, you are doing so well :j and being below £30k is such a milestone that if you stray a little it is only natural.Official DFW Nerd - Member no. 045

Sleekit wrote:And don't forget Egg's anniversary offer - 0% on BTs for 5 months on the anniversary of you opening the card account!
I probably won't use it for that though to be honest. Now they have reduced their limit on what they charge to transfer I think I'll pass on it!
Thanks for the reminder though!0 -
