Aw don't beat yourself up SS we all need a break sometimes from this lark and to be honest I don't think £100 a month is bad at all!! When I was your age I got through a lot more than that I can tell you..but I won't tell you what on  I think you do so well to hammer off as much as you do each month you should cut yourself some slack sometimes hun..I'm sure there will be plenty of months to come when you actually pay off extra so it all evens out in the end
As for the entertainment side of things ..like I told Jamesy I'm not that decrepid
but I am a bit out of touch with that side of things..any help out there for this lovely young man peeps???

Oi what are you doing over here? Get back in The Arms!0 -
JAMIEDODGER wrote:ss, would it be easier to take out £25 a week instaed? that way when youve spent it all technically its only 6 or less days til you get "paid" again
The reason I took £100 out at the start is that in a month you get the 4 weeks and then the odd few days.
I like the idea of being 'paid' every week though!

Well I sent of a cheque this morning for £11.60 my Tesco CC and when my £15 direct debit comes out later this month the card will be clear! :j
Am finally seeing the fruits of my labour so to speak by clearing this card, Egg and Amazon (albeit by BT's)!

I've just cancelled my Amazon card!
They offered me 6.95% APR onntransfers but it was variable. My Capital One is a similar rate but is for the life of the balance so I'd rather keep with them!
But at least that is £5,300 wiped of off my potential debt!0 -
The sounds cutting up the chip on a credit card makes is pucker! I'm fighting with the scissors not to cut them all up now! :rotfl:0

Well I have been a busy bee tonight!
For some odd reason in the 3 weeks I've had my Amex card they have increased my limit by £200! :j
So I've just transferred over another £180 from my Capital One card! :dance:0 -
So much progress, well done :T
I used to like destroying my parents' old cards, i used to cut lots of cuts into them without actually cutting bits off. Then I'd bend all the cut bits all funny ways and make little 'card sculptures' that stood up!
Really was a strange child wasn't I?!
Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread, you just made me think about cutting up cards!
Well done on your progressDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way
