Hi SS, glad to see you're back as a regular! I've been away for a few weeks so just catching up with things.
And saw moozie posting on her thread today... ahh for the old times hey?!
Anyway... continued congrats on plugging away at the debt and not giving in :T
Can I clarify something though?! Is that matched betting a profit of £1.64 or -£1.64 ?! :rotfl: It looked like a minus which got me a bit confused
Hope you're well, great news about the car being cheaper than expected :jDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Heya, my hols were good thanks! Did some amazing things - a cable car up the mountains near Mont Blanc and a tandem paragliding flight :j Feel a bit guilty cos my parents helped pay for those things (and the holiday as it was with them) but they insistedLast time we go on holiday as a family and stuff I think!
We sound like a couple of old fogies, 'the good old days' - what trash  :rotfl: These things go in phases though don't they, its addictive for ages and then suddenly I need a break.
The book was a big success, thanks! We didn't sell them, they were handed out to visitors to the exhibition and they were very popularCould have given away twice as many if we'd had them! The Dean of Art and Design liked ours much better than the university produced one, she demanded to know why the university logo wasn't on it, to which my head of department replied that the uni hadn't paid so why should they have any publicity?! Go her!!!
*sorry, boasting over*
Perhaps I'll get into this matched betting lark at some point. I've looked into it and I understand the principal, it just seems that the profits are not huge for the time it would take me, particularly at first. I'm not greedy but y'know! I don't have too much disposable money to use for it too, but I do have a £1000 0% overdraft that's not being used  I'd be scared in case I made a balls up tho :eek:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. To be honest it doesn't need much to get going with matched betting.
I was advised to deposit £50 (though I think £100-150 is better) to start with in Betfair then obviously whatever it costs to open with your first bookie account. You then just have to wait for the result top come in, stake your first free bet, wait for that then sorted. I've put quite a few hundred into Betfair, well about £700but I've had some nice big £25 free bets and have opened 5 accounts already. By 10pm tomorrow night I'll put most of it back into my account and should be counting near £50 profit with approx another £40 odd to come! :j

Have made a nice little profit though nit including Quidco money! :j
Will get a figure tomorrow night!
Really wish I hadn't ordered that pizza now! Feel sick, really thirsty and to be honest it wasn't that enjoyable!
Target for tomorrow is to spend zilch!0
