Shock resistant mobile?

My OH has broken his phone for the 2nd time in 6 months and as the contract is in my name it is driving me nuts having to sort things out!

His contract still has 6 months to run with 3 mobile but my contract has just ended with them so I'll be able to get him a new phone by upgrading as he does not have insurance and I presume there is a charge to get the phone fixed.

Around 3 years ago there was a Nokia which had a rubber casing on it but they dont seem to do these anymore - does anyone know where I might be able to get one of these and also will a 3 mobile sim card work in it as my sim will not work in my old phone.

There is a JCB "tough phone" usually on pay as you go - Argos have it at £169.39

But I reckon you can shop around and get it cheaper. It's not the most beautiful of phones and is pretty low spec but it's hard as nails.

The Samsung M110 is a rubber-encased phone and quite popular. We call it the 'bouncy builder's phone' due to the fact it's just like the old Nokia 5210.

Got this for my Bf after he broke his Nokia 5500. very happy with the quality of the phone. great battery life and has a megapixel camera (which the JCB phone doesn't).

We got it from play.com and they were doing a deal for a discount on a memory card too. So far, I'd recommend it. Very loud ringtone and strong vibrate too
