Okay peeps so I know I see things in very black and white but I have some honest questions regarding OHs...

Now I realise that you'll have separate friends and interests which is fine, but surely being part of a couple is doing some stuff together??

If they dont like it then they arent really bringing much to the couple equation and surely they need sitting down with the plain facts 'if you dont make an effort to come out with me as a couple more often then its likely I'll find someone who will' not a threat just the obvious.

And also why dont you invite yourself along to their nights out too :D

exactly how a relationship should be in an ideal world... but in reality some of us settle for less for whatever reasons...

finding someone else who will appreciate you isn't that easy either... it takes a long time to find anyone, never mind anyone who ticks all the boxes....

plus when you have kids, a house, joint financial responsibilites together the fact that you're not getting some of your needs met is less of an issue, as a lot of your greater needs are being met adequately out of the equation....

so yes, not black and white unfortunately....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I'm not a settler I'm afraid - which is why I'm unlikely to ever be married, but its not a huge problem since I dont want kids anyway :D

(thanks for the responses by the way I was curious is all)

Hey never say never Becky. You might find (or have found ;)) someone who is just like that too and wants the same things!
