Maz, Mr Twit is well known for not being the most outgoing person
I often go to things on my own. I even go out with his friends that he knew before we were married, they just have a laugh about it.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Morning all :hello:
Have a good drive KayleighMaz, I would be angry too! Am sure your friends will understand though, so go and do your best to enjoy yourself.
I feel pretty rubbish this morning, didn't sleep well, am all achy and tired, got soaked on the way to work and generally can't be bothered. Going out straight from work too, for a friend's birthday, in another city so got a train journey to do and won't get home till 7ish tomorrow morning - last thing in the world I feel like at the moment! :rolleyes:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Maz, you have my complete sympathy...Its like you are living my marriage. DH is so unsociable unless its something he wants to do. He always says he's coming to things with my friends and then generally backs out at the last minute and I find it embarrasing but whereas before I would have made an excuse not to go to things I ALWAYS say yes now and if he wants to be a miserable git and sit on his own then so be it!
Pouring with rain here today! DD didn't get out of bed until 9 and wasn't going to take her to school but when I said we were going to the allotment she begged to go
Been to town down a mystery shop £10 thank you very much and I am doing extra hours at work this afternoon. Bad news is I have a slow puncture on the car so more bloody money!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Can I put my hand up for the most unsociable husband ever....when I worked for a big insurance company they actually thought I made him up! He has got a lot better now - no actually he hasn't I have just got better at saying he is a miserable unsociable !!!!!!. My problem is at the weekends he wants it to be just me and him and doesn't want to share me with anyone (unless its his idea!) Would be great if I actually got out during the week (I don't want to though either).
I also know that he is getting slightly jittery cos I have lost weight I am on my own (and on here) so much and I bet me having a new hair do will do his nut in......he constantly wants reassurance that 'I am alright'....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
