After my little prbolem im not sure if i should reply, but we all have to start somewhere on ebay. when did the person join ebay, and they are not in Nigeria are they??
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Yes we all have and had to start somewhere, but lets face it, most scammers use new identities.

Just specify that if they win, that you will not ship the item until the funds are cleared into your personal Bank Account. this takes between 3-5 days from a paypal account to bank accounts.

Give newbies a chance but don't let em cause too much trouble. They are skittish and more likely to leave neg. feedback if there is a problem without talking first.

As well as that phones are notoriously bad for attacting scam bidders. On any other item I wouldnt advise against a 0 feedback bidding on anything but on mobile phones I would.

Agree be very vary of selling mobile phones, laptops etc to 0 feedback buyers.

I would let the bid stay but make it clear you will accept certain payments and not paypal. This will avoid any chargeback as you can get experinced ebayers using extra accounts to con. Also make sure they are aware of where you are willing to ship to.

Most bidders will just bid on your item. As soon as they start Emailing you telling you all about who they want to buy it for then it's time to cancel the bid and block them.
    Can I help?

Avoid. Thieir mother lives in Nigeria and probably wants your bank details and home address to send you the money! Happens too many times. First time I sold a phone this happened. I now set my e-hnay up to not allow anyone with less than 5 feedback and no pay strikes to bid when I sell a phone.

How come yours does it so quickly? Mine takes more like a fortnight! Isn't the official version supposed to be about 7 working days?
