Money not showing up

Hi Ahai 1

I too am in your position but with Barclays , I paid my mortgage on the 28th April to transfer from one account to another did it in the branch.
The money has been lost and I am getting soooo frustrated i cant get anybody within the Barclays Organisation to give me an answer even though I have been in the branch, rang them and emailed, ahhhh im pulling my hair out dont know what to do next .

I am getting confused with all these... how can they lose your transfer??
Faster Payments are done in the same day, and they should appear in the same day, unless done really late. Other options should appear within 2-3 working days.
What does the other bank say? the one where you are sending the money? Why does it say in your screen that the las update was the 3rd of April??? :eek:

Hi All

I asked the person behind the counter to transfer from my current account to the mortgage to pay the mortgage I have with Barclays.
Its the 16th May today this happened on the 28th April How can this happen? raises questions where is the money how can it disappear for
so long? hmm
Staff are very unhelpfull and just seem to fob off next stop has to be financial obudsman I guess
I was told it would take 3/4 days, The best thing is the useless man that did the transaction spoke to him last friday he said he would put a trace on it and log a complaint , 8 days on it turns out he need NOTHING!!!
