Have you tried disabling the device in device manager? (ctrl-panel, System), then re-enabling it. This should then perform a renewal of your IP/DNS etc.:hello:

Manathome- can't find the filtering MAC address option in Linksys menu?
I think the security is set the same. How and why would it be different?Filiss0 -
What are your Internet Protocol settings?
Go to Network Connections, right click on Local Connection, select Properties, from the list click on Internet Protocol and click on Properties
Should have
Obtain IP address automatically
Obtain DNS server address automatically
And when u click on Advanced, it should have DHCP Enabled
It should be this way, but always worth the double check:hello:

When u reset the modem, did u try a hardware reset. how does the manual say to do it?
Basically its something along these lines
depress reset button, count to 7
whilst keeping button pressed, unplug router, count to 7
then still keeping button pressed, plug router back in and count to 7
or you could reset using the lights - again, check manual on how it says to do it
regarding mac address, good pont by manathome, I had this problem once only, when mine changed for whatever reason. It is found under Mac Address Clone:hello:
