Vodafone's 19 million customers can use their mobile in Europe and Down Under this summer without paying any additional call or text charges.

There's also a loophole for non-Vodafone customers to slash holiday call costs by getting a free pay as you go (PAYG) sim card.

Contract & PAYG

Vodafone contract and PAYG customers will be able to talk, text and send picture messages from most European countries, plus Australia and New Zealand, and pay their UK rate.

Use inclusive mins

It means you can use available calls or texts within inclusive packages, meaning no expensive overseas costs (apart from mobile internet). The offer applies to all calls or messages to a UK number or within the country you’re visiting.

very good news indeed, recently spent a week in switzerland/france and paying 68p every time i wanted to listen to a single voicemail was annoying. I just wish Vodafone would let you roam on other Vodafone networks overseas and not pay extra, other networks yes but not when your still using the service from the company you use at home.
