100ml bottles for hand luggage

Hi,
We are flying out with Ryanair for a weekend in prague on Saturday and have kept price to a minimum by just taking hand (cabin) luggage.
The problem is with all the security checks all our liquids have to be in bottles of less then 100ml with a combined volume of 1000ml (ie 10 x 100ml)
Although Boots/Superdrug offer the bottles for about £1 each I woulddn't mind finding a place a bit cheaper (if possible)
Does anyone have a good place for 100ml bottles ?
Also, any tips for a weekend a way with just hand luggage, ie what to pack ?
Thanks
Oliver

if you have a matalan near you I think they do a pack with 3 bottles and the zipped clear bag for about £2. also i got some from tesco last year for about the same price. By the way how could anyone manage to fit 10 of these bottles in the correct size of transparent bag which I think has to be about 20 cm x 18 cm? I can usually manage about 4 with maybe a tube of toothpaste. by the way these are empty bottles to decant your own stuff into0

Superdrug do empty ones as do Home bargains and similar £ shops."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

I've seen that some people use freezer bags if you have one of them hanging around. Anything clear and plastic should do.where can you get the clear zipper bag from? i have just some moistureser( well its a nine hour flight!) and some toothpaste and thats it, but need the bag
I travel with a roll on deodorant and very small toothpaste and never take them out of my laptop bag and in the 100 odd flights i've taken after these measures came out have never been asked to take them out either0 -
I got a bag free with some contact lense solution. They were giving them out in Boots in Liverpool airport, too. Samples from magazines can be good for hand luggage.0

Primark have little clear zip bags with 3 bottles - I think £1.0

Also seen bottles at Primark, Superdrug and the local pound store.
As for the plastic bags, I usually get mine at the airport (Heathrow and Gatwick give them out - I travelled through both in April/May). I grab about 5 and keep a few aside for my next trip.
And the previous poster is correct, it must fit within the one single plastic bag, so there is no chance of getting 1000ml in little bottles within the one bag!
Hope this helps.0 -
The "zipper" type freezer bags are ideal. I collect free sachets of moisturiser, shampoo etc from magazines and the freebie forum on here. Check to see if your hotel gives you free toiletries in the bathroom. If they do use those then bring home the empty bottles to refill for future trips!0

Very true. The 'maximum 1l volume' mentioned in all documents relating to the security restrictions refers to the volume of the bag itself, not the liquids contained within it (basically it means that if you were to pour water into the bag no more than 1 litre would fit). The number of 100ml bottles is unlimited but, as others have said, the chances of fitting more than four or five in an acceptable bag are minimal.0 -
depends what you're taking onto the plane.
I just returned from New York and didn't have camera cleaning solution in a seperate bag. It's in a small red bottle and is probably around 25ml when new. I carried it inside my camera gear and not seperately.
Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!0
