A friend of mine had a slot today and he said there were no mens suits available, and hardly any homeware.
He reserved a suit that was in stock, but by the time he came to checkout it was sold out. >:(

I did well and got many items I had wanted - Like Tayyibah, I too had bad problems online with the site cutting out after 20 mins on 2 separate slots (rang to get another after went down first time) but on second occasion I took screen dumps of my order every 5 mins so just reeled off my order on phone in the end. Talk about mission impossible online but then I guess they must have been getting hammered by all at the same time so understandable - luckily service on phone was very good! Top marks0

Bah Humbug - got a slot today between 6-7pm, all the stuff I wanted had either gone or wasn't available in my size
One major gripe though - is it just me or is the Next website !!!!!! >:(
That isn't meant to sound like sour grapes - but I've always found it a major letdown when compared to other online retailers such as M&S.
So be warned all of you getting excited about buying loads from the VIP sale - you might not get the bits your after

only stumbled across this thread this afternoon, but still decided to try my luck and by using the link request a slot for tomorrow morning. Was amazed to get an email confiming my slot and PIN number.
Mind u from the last few posts , not sure what im gonna get, sounds like most of the good stuff is sold out already!

I tried to get a VIP invite with no luck so I emailed to ask why etc yesterday.Today I got an email (from the flowers department for soem reason)apologising for the site being closed for repair and and saying they would take my order on this number..

When I got through the lady asked if I was ringing for flowers.I said I was ringing for VIP sale ordering.She said my account said I wasn't entitled to it.I explained I had complained about the fact that i wasn't orginailly offered it and as a reply to my complaint had been given this numberto call in an email with an apology and told I could order on this number.She then said she would email me a password and put me through to the VIP line.Which she did and....I placed my order ;D
Alot of the stuff has sold out so if you manage to get through make sure you have lots of alternatives to try incase your first choice is sold out.
I'm not sure how I actually ended up with a VIP pass but I think the fact that the website is closed for repair may mean they are getting alot of complaints and are just sending standard replies??Maybe they thought my complaint was about trying to order flowers :-/ Anyway for whatever reason I ende dup with my VIP pass so good luck to anybody else who fancies trying it on that number0 -
I managed to get most of the stuff that I wanted from the Christmas Directory, but the majority of stuff I wanted from the main Directory was not availiable.
I still managed to order £500 worth of items for £195 though - so a big thank you to the person who started this thread.
And got sent home from work early, as they could not get the computer systems to work today - so I'm well happy ;D

Had my slot this morning 10am-11am, but was in a panic when the site wouldn't let me log in
I'd spent ages choosing items and so had friends and family.....luckily I called up the helpline and they put me through to order over the phone. As it turned out, I think this was a much quicker and easier way. Most of the stuff I wanted in the main catalogue had gone, but most of the Christmas catalogue stuff was still there. Managed to spend nearly £400 but saved a fortune ;-)

oops, should have added:
woke up at 5.30 am Thursday, logged in at 6am and spent a whole 50 mins typing in codes and even then I wasnt totally finished but I was satisfied as most of what I wanted was in stock. I put the last code in and bam, the site crashes. I was soooooo annoyed. I managed to get another slot at 10 am but by then a lot of things sold out.
The other annoying thing was that the website was RUBBISH! No quickshop!! That would have been so easier! It was difficult finding things and annoying that you couldnt try other codes of items definetly in the sale.
Still brill delivery!
