Woo Hoo!!

You have just made up for the fact that I have to work Christmas Eve until 3pm.

Have just blagged an invite from a very nice young man on the phone and booked myself a slot for Friday at 11am.

Guess I won't be working too hard on Friday after all!!! ;D ;D ;D

Did not know that VIP ACCESS existed til I came across this link. I dread to think how much I have spent with Next over the years as I only buy my kids clothes from there and I have 3 kids and another one on the way.

Was well !!!!!! off when I realised that I had not been selected so contacted the helpdesk number, and tried to blag an invite - No Success.

Then sent a complaint to Customer Relations and finally got an email today with my invite.

Thanks to the OP, Hopefully we will all get some bargains to make it all worthwhile. Just a pity I'm limited to the maternity section for now ::).

If at first you don't succeed, don't be put off, call again another time - most likely you won't get the same person again.

Took me 1 attempt, took my sister 3! Like Tayyibah she was well peeved off about not having an invite as she has 3 kids too and her home is a next catalogue ;D

We're both now booked in.

Wahay - Next just phoned the missus (in response to my email request) and granted her a VIP slot ;D

The missus is well chuffed - "Christmas has come early" were her words

Now, the mrs, babi and I get kitted out on the cheap (well 'ish) 8)

Thanks to the OP on this one. My Next emails are directed to my work addy, and as I been off Christmas shopping, completely missed my invitation - cut off was Sunday to register >:(. So I phoned and was granted a slot for Friday. Thanks again. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Had my slot last night but just as I was about to confirm payment of order the system went down and lost order. I rang Next who gave me a slot for the following hour.

Still managed to get lots of bargains esp for kids, although by the time I put my order through the second time quite a few items had sold out that were in stock the previous hour.

I doubt that there will be very much left for those who don't have VIP access. My advice to those who don't have VIP access would be to head down to the stores after Crimbo - The phone lines will probably be a waste of time.

I tried to get myself a slot but can't remember my account number though they have confirmed I've got one...now I need to wait till 27th. Don't buy up everything before then you lucky people!
