No you wont loose any programs, just dont choose "full system reset" as that will loose your programs.0

The software and planner rebuild are 2 different things, do the software download first, once that had finished do the planner rebuild, this can sort out most problems with your box and you will not loose recordings, it just makes sure you have the latest software installed and rebuilds the data on the hard drive a bit like a defrag on your PC0

yeah i understood there 2 seperate things i have tried to do it but it came up with a message that it will delete all recorded programs so will wait til ive seen them then do it.

Are you sure it says that it will delete things, the one where you hold the button down should just say software update and something about waithing 10 minutes , white yext on a black screen.
The planner rebuild dosent say that either as i did it myself last night, it says it will stop all programs but not delete them0 -
sorry hubby followering instructions but followered wrong ones he did it the way his mate told him he went into services<system setup then 01 then full resethave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0

Ahhh no no no dont do a full reset it will loose your programs, that is a last resort if the other things ive told you to do dont work :eek:0
