When can I call to cancel contract?

Hi

My contract with t-mobile expires on the 21st of May and I was just wondering if I could call from now to let them know that I won't be renewing my contract? Can I do that or is it still early? If not, when can I do it?

You will have to do it a month before your contract expires because you have to give them 30 days notice if you do not want to keep your number, so you will need to ring on the 21st of April.

Or if you want to keep your number ring them on the 21st of May and ask them for your PAC code and use it straight away.

You can ring them for the PAC code on the 21st of April as well if you want, but you will still have to pay for up to the 21st of May

You should be able to give them notice now, saying that you want the contract to terminate at the end of the natural minimum period, ie on the 21st May.

These contracts say that you have to give 30 days notice, but none of them specify that you cannot give due notice on a date prior to te start of the notice period.
