have a look at parkresorts.co.uk, we are using them in the summer and their prices are alot cheaper than haven, etc. Most of their breaks are also 3 nights but I have noticed that sometimes when it gets closer to the dates they have 2 night breaks available.
also have a look at Hoseasons, but again I think they are 3 night breaks, but as already mentioned, if it is a good enough price why not just come home early.

The following link is to a site for late Deals where you can hire private caravans.

    http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk/late_deals.aspx

For this weekend there is a caravan in the Lakes for £100 or Northumberland for £130.
We own a caravan on the same site in the Lakes and it is a Haven Park so lots for kids and a new indoor pool opened this month. There is also a little kids farm two minutes away which is ideal for kids your age.
    Good luck

wow thats a fab site thanks :)

lots of bargains for next week, half term !

may be lucky to pick up a bargain on this, seems cheaper than the 'sun holidays' all the sites on dates we can manage are too far away, but great deals to be had.

you can usually book apartments by the night, maybe get a 1 or 2 bed apartment. Just search rental apartments and the town you want to go and you should find something reasonable. In my experience it usually works out just a little more expensive than a premier inn or similar hotel.
