So, come on MRN, let's see the parting of the lines
Bye she's cheeky in't she! There is a difference... look at the bottom right, see a months difference!!! Early days yet and I look forward to the gap widening... the blue retreating and the red standing still of course!
And there's more graph !!!!!!...
Gas...
And Elec...
Blocks indicates 2009 usage, black line indicates 2008 usage. We moved in November 2008 hence the flatline till then! Looking forward to reducing this winter due to me being at work during the day and due to the recent installation of a condenser boiler and our 25+ year old back boiler removed.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Have you noticed MSE doesn't remove !!!!!! and replace it with exclamation marks? :rotfl:0

Gas graph very impressive, well done :j, will be interested to see the impact of the new boiler.
As for my depraved ways, I blame Hypno on the debt free board for introducing me to property !!!!!!. Watch out folks, she's in the MFiT take 2 challenge :rotfl:

Well first week in new job done! And it's miles better than my previous job and far better than full time home-maker/mystery shopper!
In the evenings, I managed to squeeze in a bit of listing items to sell on ebay. I took lunch to work every day except one where I 'splashed out' on a £1.49 sandwich. AND... the heating is still off at our house!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Great to hear it's gone so well!0

Rough with the smooth...
Direct debits for duel fuel have been reduced by £14 per month.
Home and contents insurance due - haven't mustered motivation to do the comparisons yet.
Made £67.20 profit from half the ebay mountain but no effort left for the other half.
OH car need servicing (and tyres).
first pay day for new job and some September Mystery Shopping pay in my bank account
Just about to dip back into free graduate overdraft again
the heating is still off (I think October will be lower than September as that rise in gas was due to the new boiler being fitted and them faffing about with it.
microwave has packed up but I only use it for defrosting meat and cooking frozen peas so I'm sure I can remember to get the meat out the night before and cook peas on the hob instead
food shopping bill has dropped considerably (less than half) since OH went to work away from home for 7 months
but I'd rather have him here eating us out of house and home!!!

Interesting to think what the hardened MSE team would say to that "cost"... seriously though, best wishes on getting through the time apart which I think may seem longer due to the winter nights.
(Should you be checking on OH's costs whilst he's away - make sure his food bills are "in line" with expectations, or is that a step too far?)
