And a random tub with no label which may be soup.
Lucky dip tub was stew (sauce only!) but handily I had a freezer-burnt bagel to dunk. Banana with no indication it used to be yellow and a rather pithy clementine.

No pate, sorry Tilly. I did contemplate a pickle only sandwich though!

Slim pickings in my freezer would a handful of peas, spinach crumbs and random leek rings. Plus some 6 month old breadcrumbs. And a random tub with no label which may be soup. Or curry. Or casserole. Or none of the above. Happy to send over MRN if it will help :D.

    Nationwide's online banking is brilliant.

I agree - although I don't have anything to compare it with
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)
  • Nationwide online banking - its evil. You can check everyday (when I'm home - guilty) you can transfer amounts between accounts (guilty) and you can open savings accounts online (guilty) then you can look again after the transfers to see the new balances (guilty). And I wonder why I get nothing done!

Sounds like my perfect night in.:rotfl: Ive already logged into my Co op account 3 times tonight. I dont know what I thought was going to change. I shall go and play with the mortgage op calculator instead  :T:D
  • You lot are spreadsheet/mortgage calculator/online banking fiddlers after my own heart!

I've just finished reporting my 4 mystery shops for the evening - didn't get a G&T in the end!

Will report my food shopping spending tomorrow. It was coupon-tastic but still a big shop.

I was with Egg, now it's YBS for mortgage. Excellent low rate but the best thing is their Money Manager - log into it and it logs you into all your bank accounts automatically - account monitoring for the idle :).

Hi there - Tilly mentioned you've set yourself the challenge of taking in packed lunches to work, so I'm joining you on that one :)

I'm slight biased for reasons I shan't disclose (lol) but Nationwide really are fab. Not sure if you know, but they now have a rather super little iPhone app which is just brilliant!
