Huge Lawrie is a problem cos I've seen him in women's clothing too often.

Mr Morgan is gorgeous ... can we share?

And Alan Rickman ... I've an ex who is uncannily like him. Acts like Snape most of the time but floppy blond hair. So bit torn on that one. I do like his intellect tho ...

OK....slightly new get up off !!!!! approach for July methinks.

Instead of big to do lists we're going to have buckets. And at least one thing has to go into each bucket, each day. Doesn't have to be big but has to be something. This is to try and spin plates and have a more holistic approach. I tend to concentrate on one thing to the expense of everything else and although sometimes necessary it can lead to a complete imbalance.
    Meet The Buckets
In the Blue Bucket we have Health and Exercise.
Find the pedometer and aim for 10,000 a day. Exercise bike and cross trainer have been dug out. Dog needs walks. Hospital and Dental visits organised and attended. Geochaching resurrected. Badminton with Small Boy.
At least one thing a day, each and every day.
In the Green Bucket we have The House.
Meals planned, shopped for and cooked. Washing done. Beds stripped and changed. Hoovering and floors washed. Rooms tidied and cleared.
At least two things a day, each and every day.
In the Purple Bucket we have Business Number 1.
Bank accounts checked. Arrears chased. Repairs oganised. Tradesmen paid. Website designed and commissioned. Accounts brought up to date. Landlords Association Joined. Court Actions raised and followed through. Empty flats tenanted.
At least one thing a day, each and every day.
In the Gold Bucket we have Education.
OU reading and assignments up to date. Plans for next courses. CAB reading and website. CAB interviews. Professional Development for BCI. Business reading and updates. Small Boy Business Course I have to find and examination he can sit. Tutor timetable for SB.
At least one thing a day, each and every day.
In the Red Bucket we have Business Number 2.
Shop fitted. Broadband ordered. Business Plan written and circulated. Recontact Business Gateway. Design and commission website. Marketing strategy devised. Cashflow in place. Evening sales to pay rent and utilities. Signage ordered. Stationery ordered.
At least five things a week.
In the Pink Bucket we have Extension and Refurbishment.
Plans chased up. Old office stripped out. New office built. Everything sellable moved to shop. Kitchen emptied and stored, sold, dumped or charity shops. Garage emptied and stored, sold, dumped or charity shops. Bedrooms emptied and kept, sold, dumped or charity shops. Long term items to keep put in loft. Consider another shed for garden tools. Clear out garden studio and put to good use for OH. Make garden space usable in interim, bedding plants, clear out pots and re-plant.
At least one thing a day, each and every day.
In the Brown Bucket we have Family and Friends.
Games and cards using Braille materials. Theatre, cinema, accessible geocaches, Historic Scotland and National Trust cards. Grandad round to dinner every week. Audio books in car. Invite friends round before demolition work. Catch up with friends and colleagues via email and linked-in. Attend OU day schools and occasional evening. Get OH to RNIB events to meet new people. Get more involved with local community.
At least five things a week.
In the Lilac Bucket we have MSE.
Make sure benefits in order and correct. Check bank accounts daily for business and personal transactions. Grocery Challenge and NSD challenges. Join Ebay challenge to get rent money for shop. Amazon all books OH no longer needs / wants. Investigate learning support for OH from OU. Investigate fees for next OU courses. Chase up EMA for Small Boy.
At least two things a day, each and every day.
I think this is more rounded for me and I can build more detailed plans for each area, the joys of MS Project. Intend to give it a go from tomorrow so lets see where it takes us.

I still like Laurie...even for the womens clothes ;)
Mr Morgan...We'll split him over 6 days a week...give him Sunday off for good behaviour? whatcha think??:D:D
I'm not much for Rickman as Snape to be honest, although Rickman plays him VERY well (he makes a good baddie) I preferred him in Sense and Sensibility (just off the top of my head hehe)

I just really like those three though...most people look at me with morbid curiosity at that point, so I'll take it as a good sign that I haven't been laughed off of MSE just yet ;):A

    Thanks Kadiya.

Snape isn't sexy but Rickman's a brilliant actor. I loved him playing the Sheriff of Nottingham "Cancel Christmas!!" - now that's my ex.

Keen to see if the buckets work...may help me deliver all the bits and not lose focus. Lets suck it and see! You can help judge the efforts over the month.

How are you feeling? It's a bit cooler up here - hopefully the same with you.

Hi Kissjenn :hello: Hugh Laurie is a hottie! And Alan Rickman is rather sexy!

Excellent idea on the buckets!! :T:T:T

This I might be stealling that idea - I tend to focus on one thing at a time & then everything else slips!

Yay you & your cleverness! ;)
