The Hesperia Tower Barcelona is beautiful and expensive. Within what you would call a bit of a dodgy area however underground a short walk and will take you straight to centre.

Due to the price of a coffee in the hotel we went into the "dodgy area" and ordered the cheapest tastiest coffee I have ever had. Its basically a housing estate full of normal folk going about their day to day business.

The beds in the hotel are HUGE the shower is HUGE and well worth the £99 we paid for 2 nights. The life is complicated and you will look like a fool the first time you try it - no escaping that I'm afraid!
