How do I get PDSA?

my local pdsa allows 3 pets to be registered at their hospital0

I'm in the south of england and can have 3 pets registered, if one dies you have to wait 6 months before you can register another.
They go by housing/council tax benefit.
Vacc's have to be paid in full and so does flea and worming treatment, anything else is donation.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -

It should, but then I think prescriptions for humans, university fees(or not), etc. should be the same in England, Scotland and Wales! Ok I will get off my soap box now!
You're so right but found out after posting this that if it is private vet being subsidised by pdsa it is just 1 pet. Have a friend in Cumbria and she told me she was only allowed 1 cat I checked out her nearest pdsa and found that information0 -
the pdsa will only let you register one animal with them, they don't cover yearly boosters and although they'll pay for a tom cat to be spayed they won't cover the cost of a female. Not sure about their rules for ferrets. We got form from vet, photocopied benefit letter and a postal order for a few sound-can't remember exact amount but it's not much. Then handed it back to vet and they sent it to pdsa, you'll get a certificate through post.
They allow up to 3 animals. I have 3 cats registered with them. You have to be on housing benefit or council tax benefit.0 -
It's only Council tax not housing benefit as well now. You can only have 3 pets if it is a pdsa hospital not if it's a vet providing pdsa subsidising then it's 1 pet and as has already been pointed out Wales and scotland can vary0

I don't know how many pets you're allowed, but the PDSA in Edinburgh (Slateford one) is an animal hospital so looks like both will be OK. Its also the emergency vets for West Edinburgh and is open 24 hours (I know this from having to take a cat there) Why don't you phone them up and ask?0

Does anyone know what percentage of cost would be appropriate as a donation to PDSA?0

There's a woman living near me who's on means tested benefits and has taken God knows how many dogs to the PDSA for neighbours to get free treatment over the years, saying they are hers.
Things like this will be stopped if you can now only register one or two dogs!0 -

I would say give as much you are able as they provide an amazing service ."if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170
