Read OnceWed - and now I want to change my wedding!

Just been looking through the real weddings section of the Once Wed website and now I want to completely change my wedding. I want to be able to have whatever catering I want, I want to be able to decorate how I want, I want candles and plants and dogs!

I don't even know where to start looking for a venue. What do I even type into Google to find a village hall or somewhere that I can erect a marquee?! I live in central Manchester and my family are in central Bristol so I don't really know of anywhere like this that would be suitable.

Any help? Take a look at the blog and you'll see what I mean...xx

I'm in Didsbury so there are lots of nice parks but I don't know anything about rules to do with where you can actually get married and things like putting up marquees.

I think I'm just having wedding envy. It's a stunning website.

Didsbury is where me and OH went for our first trip away together 7 years ago. Eleven Didsbury Avenue I think the place was called. It was lovely. :o

I live in Didsbury! And my family all live in Bristol! 11 Didsbury Park is near us and the other Didsbury Park hotel (run by the same people) is just up the road and is where Carla in Coronation Street got married. It is lovely. What a small world it is!
