I very much doubt a high-street chain (even Sports World) would get away with selling fake gear.
It'll be old / unusual styles!!!
@JSF, did they have mens or just womens? What did you pay for em?

Hi Morph3us
they had a sticker of £89.99 on the back of the case and the 90% sticker on the front so I paid £8.99. I think they were more unisex but they looked ok on me (am an older chap not into fashions really lol). They had 3 CK's styles more small and round with two larger DKNY.
Its in a real good strong case with a black cleaning cloth so I reckon thats worth £1-£2 on its own.
Are they Fake? guess I would not know how to tell, but I doubt if I would get sunglasses as cheap as these and they do feel and look good on me. So long as the UV protection I dont mind. They did let me try them on and had a large mirror so it personal choice at the end of the day.
Now it was sunny the other day and that store does get busy, not obvious they are there (stops them disappearing). I would not have known they were there and had to ask someone. Would reckon they would sell quick if they were in the right place.:j0 -
The sale area(the worse) and the rest of the shop is like a jumble shop. Its like squeeze a much stock as possible. You have to have a good rumage to find a bargain. Never mind the sunglasses
Is it me or the staff arent any better ( most of them just over 16yrs), to busy chatting to their work mates. I basicly stood infront of one at the till, she was yapping away to work mate. Must have been 4 mins till she bothered serving me. Like l was disturbing her wee chat. Not the 1st time. Other time other felt l was disturbing her from doing her mark downs. Where is the serve??? I guess l cant compain with the bargain l find in there.A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0 -
I work for an opticians and can say that whilst there is a healthy mark up on our sunnies we do pay much more the £2-4 for them. I would imagine that the styles being offered are older ones.0

I picked up a pair each of DKNY and CK's today from my local Sports World in Cov.
I already have Ck's and the quality of these new ones are just as good, so very much doubt they are fakes.
Both pairs are quite stylish, though some were a bit outrageous.
An excellent find!!£2 Money Savers Club = £18 :T
Car loan 1 = Paid off
Car loan 2 = £2400
CC - Paid off :dance:0 -

by the sounds of it it's one of their better stores....were the sales assistants not swearing as loud as possible across the store ? wasn't shazza telling her mate what 'position' her and bazza managed in the bus shelter last night ? did you not have to queue up again because they had overcharged you ?...shazza looks at price on label ...checks the price on the till display ...unable to compute that the 2 are different so pops items in bag ...
at least bazza's having a good time0 -
Was in the Plymouth store today, and the glasses are at the tills, under the glass-topped counter.
The Plymouth one is HUGE 4 floors of wall-wall bargains.
Talking to the sales guys, they said soon as it comes in,its put on the shelf at 90% off.
Plus the 90% off is a permanent thing, not ie for the next week/month or so.0 -
