I was a student but have found out that im pregnant so have had to leave uni and im now looking for a full time job. Has anyone any experience of cancelling thir contract with o2?

Unfortunately not being able to afford it is not a valid reason to cancel it. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you can meet the payments on any contract that you agree to. Contact O2 (probably in writing, though by all means call them first) and explain your circumstances. They may be willing to reduce your tariff depending on how much you are paying now. I don't know exactly when O2 are normally willing to do that, but all you can do is ask. People have had some success in the past with all companies in reducing their tariff.
