Yea sometime you get bad days andf its best to move tescos, perserverence seems to work.

In the end if the store manager choses to go against it not much you can do after that.

. Been couponing for 1 year originally finding this thread and PTS to learn the 'rules' of the game.

In all honesty I read alot of the activities of people on here, I just hope not too many of you use my tescos. I believe in the 'radar', I dont try to openly show my coupons, i don't argue with Checkout operators if they make a new rule, I smile use my card and try a different Checkout operator next time. I've had to deal with these varyign rules:

    - 10% of shop
    - 5 coupons per shop
    - 1 coupon per each item bought (i.e buy 30 items you can use 30 coupons but buy 1 and you can use 1).... I still get this one today lol.
    - No coupons accepted
    - Random selection of which coupons are good and which are not.

I know of 3-4 other couponers in my store who use larger volumes than me and one lady who buys coupons from ebay... trying to use the ones which were faked and even arguing with the CS lady..

I saved tons of money couponing, but i remember to be nice, polite and never openly challenge operators, i now dont ahve a trouble or have the checkout operators nor managers question or jump on me because 'im a regular' and i didn't show them up by arguing with them. In the end they got to be senior as they manager so when they are proven wrong they dont like it and will prob take it personally and try pick on you each time lol.... and could escalate it to upermanagement leading to banning of coupons in store. Sure I've sometimes paid a bit more than i would've if i'd got full coupon use but because i've played it cool this only accounts for 1% of my coupon usage... while doing so i ensure I get a nice, clean shop now.. with no delays or arguments.

Just a thought, couponing isnt a right, if you respect it, itll respect you. If you treat it badly, expect couponing to work every time and go in guns blazing you may find the store stop taking coupons all together.

One of the best things about couponing is we're the only people in the country who are upgrading their shopping :rotfl:
