Gill - what a fabulous "lastpost" before your holiday, you've been really helpful to me and you've helped me save money. It's was great to hear the postie brought you a mailbag full of money savings.
Bullshot - I read your post last night and thought it was really helpful. Even when money is tight I still buy frivolous things that I really shouldn't, but one thing I don't buy is magazines, iItend to think ooh no too expensive, not today. Your post made me think differently. If I buy Best for example and then use the mocs inside, it virtually pays for itself. I might be getting more magazines soon. Thanks for the idea. I know I'm going to buy Glamour when it's out on Thursday but that's because it's got a free mascara with it so for £2 I'll have a magazine to read on holiday and a brand new mascara for my holiday too. Just remembered if I use moc for the mag it won't even be £2. It just gets better.0 -

Not all T accept coupons from mags/papers if you do not buy the product - mine stopped that months ago.If a coupon is from a mag/paper you must buy the product and if you are using a coupon for a mag/paper you must buy a mag or newspaper but not necessarily the one named on the coupon i.e. times newpaper coupon you can buy the sun but not a mag or any other product:eek: I wonder how many other T are that strict but even so every little helps:rotfl::rotfl:I am not a beige person:D0 -

Mine has no probs with newspaper, mag mocs. I usually try to save them for when I send my BF shopping cos I know they definetly scan so no probs. Also was told yesterday that as long as tescos stock the product can use mocs, limit to 5 depending on duty manager, but otherwise ok. My T's has got more coupon friendly since we got a new manager:jBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Ours quite the opposite. used to be as many as you like but all needing to be different. Now it's max of 6 all needing to be different.
Just means you have to go back more often which means showing your face more often...still before MOCing I went to Asda daily without a blink of an eye so diff store/diff payment method shouldn't bother me...but it does0 -

Yesterday, I went to a Tesco that wouldn't take the Sun £5 off £30 coupon, because they said they didn't take coupons from newspapers. Also I've been to several that don't take coupons for magazines, and that won't let you use coupons from magazines, such as Hello, Grazia etc, even if you buy the magazine it's for.
This is obviously another case of manager's discretion and varies from store to store.0 -
