I'm relatively new to this forum and want to say a very big thank you to all those involved in posting the MOCs, giving technical advice, and giving advice on how to politely but firmly stand your ground at the checkout.

I got a call back from the manager at Tesco's today regarding the store's refusal to allow me to use the £5 morrisons conditional spend alongside other coupons yesterday.

There is a £5 gift card awaiting collection at CS for me and an additional 250 clubcard points on my card as a goodwill gesture! I didn't even have to argue my case although coupon-mad i appricate all the advice, i had your post open on the computer all morning in case they called!

Might have to pop along to tesco in a little while, pick up my gift card and do a little shopping!!!

While handing over a £1 coupon to the SA at the checkout, a woman inadvertently missed her hand, and the coupon slipped beneath the scale and was gone.:(
The SA looked distressed, so the woman said, "That's OK, it's in coupon heaven now.":A
    "Coupon heaven?", the SA said.
"Yes", the woman replied, "That's where coupons go when they die."
"Only the redeemed ones!", said the SA.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had every intention of going to my favorite Tesco today as I was headed that way yesterday and never made it but Hubby needed me to go get one more deck board to finish the deck off. I don't know about you guys, but I sure feel guilty when I've missed a day at Tesco! I did however manage to go to the 2 Express stores I use. Had all my shopping paid for with coupons at the first Express (£8.65) and at the 2nd Express my shopping should have cost me 9p but I wasn't watching the cashier and the total came up short so I quickly ran and got a pack of cookies to bring the total to enough to use all my coupons and ended up paying 10p. As I left the store and was walking toward the car, there on the ground was a shiny pound coin!!! So I gladly bent over picked it up and said to myself "that was a great shopping trip"!!!!:D So I had all my shopping for free and had a 90p bonus!!!:j Mind you, if I were an MP there would have been a lot more zero's after the 90, but I'm not overly greedy and am very happy with my 90p, plus I didn't rip off over 60 million people to get it!!!:D:D:D

This is specific to you so it is coming up as already claimed. You may want to delete your post as well as your name is in the URL. By the way, I have a friend in the States with the same last name as yours, wonder if you are related?!
