Yeah you are right, it's not a coupon only telling you it's on special.Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -

I am still playing catch up with the posts but have had a problem with T double up scheme as I doubled up vouchers but had £3 left over as you can only d/u in multiples of £5 - was told that the unused £3 would be added back to my account but it has not been added phoned clubcard to query and got a real grilling and was even asked if I was sure it had not been taken off my shopping at the checkout as cash or the points added back there at the checkout instead
- in the end was told grudgingly that they would take my word for it:mad: and add 300 points back to my account but it sounded as if they were doubtful as to if I was genuine. I would have thought their tills at double up should show which vouchers I have used and for how much but it seems not
Have also spoken to a few friends who have checked after I alerted them and they have had the same problem so wanted to warn you all to check your account is rightI am not a beige person:D0 -
I had a problem at my favorite Tesco on Friday with a cashier. She was the very 1st cashier I went to the first day I ever used the store and she was very nice then and I told her so. We were talking about this forum and how great it is and I mentioned that I had posted a coupon link or two myself and she asked me if I could take the coupons from the magazines/newspapers and turn them into pdf's and post them, to which I replied NO and wouldn't dream of doing such a thing even if I knew how (I don't know how to do it). But when the store went to checking coupons before you can use them she once checked mine and gave me half of them back saying they weren't any good (they were, she was just being mean and trying to look the hotshot as she isn't a supervisor) so from that day on I try to avoid her. Well on Friday I had the supervisor check my coupons then I stupidly went to you know who! I had 8 Sun newspapers and she said, "You can't have all of those!" I asked why not and she said it was considered a bulk buy and they have a coupon in them (Morrisons £5) so I was only allowed to buy 4. So she then took the papers over to the supervisor to see what they had to say, I could see that they weren't sure what she was talking about and I heard someone say "6" and she said "it's 4", then she came back and said I could only have 4. Which meant my shopping was going to be messed up as far as the coupons were concerned so I had to take everything off the conveyor belt and go back and re-shop for a few things. Come to find out from another cashier that more than 6 items is considered a bulk buy, not 4, and that I am not the only customer she had bullied over buying in quantity. I will certainly NEVER go to her again, even if I have to stand in a long queue to avoid her!!
At my T the supervisors often move you from the checkout where you are queueing to one that is empty - usually because the SA is grumpy and unsmiling so people avoid that SA not just couponers but any shopper - I just go meekly but wondered what others do or says to stay put with a nice SA who you know is pleasantI am not a beige person:D0 -

If I havent already unloaded my shopping then it depends on whether I am in the same queue as my mum or another family member.
If I'm in the same queue as my mum or family member then I normally use that as my excuse but if I'm not then I will either say polietly that I am fine where I am thanks or I pretend I have forgotten something an trundle back down an aisle and loiter lol. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Half the time they'll wander off, and the other two thirds of the time(;):rotfl:) they will take (silent) offence at the insinuation that some of their staff are not up to the job, and will ensure they check all the coupons ,and hand them to the OT, saying to just scan them, because they are ok.
I merrily explain the correct policy to the SA, ensuring that the supervisor is listening, and that way I have another two singing off the correct hymn sheet.
I don't look at it as an inconvenience, I welcome it as a training opportunity:D
