I'm delighted to report I've been getting braver and a little bit more organised since I first posted here a couple of weeks ago.

I've got a few MOC that I picked up when shopping some weeks back and from reading this thread I'd been using them aginst my shopping each time I went to Tesco's. 3 different ones each for 50p so £1.50 of my shopping each time I shopped. Nothing like some of you get but I am starting small and building up to bigger and better coupon usage.

Since posting I've started using a few internet coupons from the front page whan I shop and now I'm getting £5 - £7 off each shopping trip. 450% increase in 2 weeks so it's looking good. I'm combining these with £5 Sun MOC (I've got 3 for each week) so £30 shopping for less than £20, I'm a very happy bunny thanks to the lovely posters on this thread.

I've only just looked at the CIF one on the first page today and after looking at I wish I'd looked at that one sooner, even if it does print a bit big. But I guess you live and learn. In fact you learn quickly on this thread.

Can't get DH to use them though. He went to get a few bits last night and came back with the moc's I'd sent him with. He didn't like to use them when only getting a couple of bits. He'll learn (even if I have to stand over him). He's seen me using them so I'm not sure why he wouldn't give it a go. I'm off on a free holiday in just over a week and I'm going the leave him with some moc and I really hope he uses them.

Gill - you're off to France very soon, have a great time.

    Thanks again everyone

Thanks I got the same email but haven't had a chance to read it. Just going through my emails now, 4116 left to read!

My locals Ts has just given me the 10% only rubbish.....came on here to see if things had changed recently but looks like it SA making it up again!

However how on earth did I forget I could use a Morrissons voucher!

And today I was given the only one coupon per shopping and only on big shops....

Went again to same store today...sure I got Edna as my SA...She was a bloody rude assisitant and said you cant pay for all your shopping with coupons (I had given her two worth in total £1.50 my shopping was £3.50) I said im not intending to pay for all my shopping with coupons I then asked her exactly what the coupon policy was...really put her on the spot. She gave me the only one coupon per shopping and only on big shops....I asked her when it had changed..she said a while ago so i said thats strange last night it was 10% off shop. I then said I really wish this store would sort out their policy on coupons it seems to change everytime I come in depending on the SA..think next time I think I will just go to Asda. Then said in a really cheery voice have a nice evening....byeeeee

I met her rudeness with complete calmness and was really sickily nice...she just looked bloody stupid!

Is it safe to come out.
I couldn't find a smilie with my tail between my legs!!!! So we lost the football, what can I say, we were dire so alas no MOC dancing for me.

Sir Alex asked the Barca manager how he trained his team. Guardiola replied that he had them dribbling around dustbins, so Fergie had the Man Utd squad doing that at training today.

    The dustbins won 2-0

    :D

Have you taken in a copy of the Tesco policy and argued your case? I was told at my local Tesco that I couldn't use any coupons unless I bought the product. So, next time I went in I took with me a copy of the policy (emailed to me by customer services in Dundee) and politely explained that following my disappointment at not being able to use my coupons the previous week, I had followed it up with Head Office who kindly emailed me a response detailing the policy. I then went on to show them the copy of the email, pointing out that all of the coupons in my pile follow the rules ie are in date, only one of each coupon etc etc. It's worked for me so far.

My Tesco used to be unlimited. First of all, staff were banned from using them, then new rule 5 only. When I queried this, the answer was MANAGER'S DISCRETION. Can't argue with that.

    Good evening everyone.

I have had an email from Tesco, Dundee, in response to my query re conditional spend coupons.

I asked some questions and these are the responses I got, by the way it took over a week to get the reply.

Q1 - Will Tesco accept the Morrisons conditional spend coupons out of the Sun newspaper - ie £5 off a £30 spend.
A1 - Yes, we do accept Morrisons £5 coupon on £30 spend.

Q2 - If the answer is yes, can each store refuse to comply and set their own policy or is it your national policy
A2 - Although it is a store decision, so if a store manager refuses to accept them there is nothing that we can do.

Q3 - Do you accept M&S conditional spend coupons
A3 - If the M&S conditional spend coupons have a bar code and are in date. then, yes we would accept them.

Q4 - Do you accept Farmfoods conditional spend coupons (they do not have barcodes on)
A4 - We are accepting Farmfoods conditional spend coupons, even without the barcode, at the moment.

    Customer Service Manager

So as soon as my Morrisons coupons are finished I will try a Farmfoods one and see what happens.

Hope someone finds this info useful.

Not a printable coupon, and yes I know it should be in the newspaper thread but figured people here may want to have a look :)
On the Sun's homepage it says there's a free 6 pack of Walkers Builder's Breakfast crisps with the Sun tomorrow. I assume it would be via a coupon!
