this is a very quick and easy recipe for tomato soup that all my family love.
1xonion finely chopped, 1ozmargerine, 1pint milkand water(mixed),
1 tin chopped tomatoes, tomato puree (to your own taste) i usually add 2 tablespoons
half a teaspoon salt, half a teaspoon sugar, and cornflour to thicken.
Sweat chopped onion in margerine to soften. Add milkand water and tin of tomatoes. Add tomatoe puree, salt and sugar. Simmer for 10 mins then blend to smooth consistency thicken with cornflour.
Simple and quick, hope you like it.:pwould like to make it known it is not a DHN, she's dancing
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.:A0 -

Actually Jaffa, it reminds me of an occasion many years ago when I was invited to a friend's for tea and her Mum asked what would I like. She said well she likes tomato soup.
The Mum duly went to a great deal of trouble to make HM tomato soup and I thought it was horrible
Being the well brought up person I was I finished it all and said how lovely it was but I have never had HM tomato soup since.0 -
