My husband has lost gprs where he works in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. This has been for over a week now. Tmobile even sent him a new sim to see if it was at fault. After a call this morning they finally admitted there is some work going on in the area. Whatever that is supposed to mean and that he may be entitled to compensation.
They only told him this after he asked customer services to double check after they kept saying there is nothing wrong with the service.
Does anyone else live in this area and been having GPRS connection problems? (GPRS is old hat I know but we have a 1g iphone!)
UPDATE:
Could someone please help with how I stand now.
After umpteen calls to Tmobile this week they will not accept responsibility. They said it was the iphone so we borrowed a mates V3 and they said it was the V3!
How can GPRS have worked for a year of our contract and suddenly stopped working in Dunstable nearly 2 weeks ago?
Hubby said he wanted to cancel his agreement and they said we cant because they dont promise 100 percent coverage!
So looks like he will have to suffer without internet connection for 6 months due to stupid Tmobile.

Unfortunately none of the companies offer 100% coverage, so I doubt if there is much that can be done.
Does anyone else you know get coverage on T mobile at your location?0 -
Thanks
So Tmobile can just turn off transmitters anytime and claim they dont provide 100% coverage? Thats tosh.
I think there would be lots of unhappy customers if that happened.
No one in his office has tmobile. But I know for a fact its something wrong with their end. He can borrow my sim tomorrow and it will be exactly the same.0
