Got new Sky planner, all OK getting used to it. Put it on today & Sky have changed picture size!

We have a 42 plasma & its set on a 16:9 set up.

Well whatever Sky have done, we now have the top & bottom of our picture missing.

Some of these are instruction in the planner & as its all new, its pretty hard to work without seeing it all.

Its like widescreen with an extra bit we can't see.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like your TV may be set to Zoomed but don't understand why the EPG would effect this. First things first do you connect by HDMI or Scart from your TV or maybe even both? Also is it just certain channels and is it HD channels or SD channels? Check the picture settings on your TV is set to 16:9 or justscan.

Finally can you go to the Picture settings on your Sky box and check what settings are for Scart/RF1 Picture Format and HD Resolution Output?

With the above we can hopefully get to the bottom of it.

HDMI & now you mention it, it might just be all the display stuff.

    Scart/RF1 Picture Format 16:9

    HD Resolution Output? 1080i

I think this may be it, I've just fiddled with the actual TV settings & changed it to Dynamic full (but not zoom, wide, 6:4).
    Seems OK now.

    Thank you.
