I don't think you can get Halifax accounts in the LTSB Scotland branches as yet but i'm sure services are available at Bank of Scotland branches.

That's what I thought, but it's not what the website says. I'm guessing it's just a mistake on the website, and that they meant to put Lloyds TSB, and not Lloyds Banking Group.

Its going to be interesting when Lloyds TSB Scotland disappears from the high street at the end of next year, and Lloyds TSB Scotland customers find themselves going into a Bank of Scotland branded branch.

I guess its only right that Bank of Scotland remains in Scotland after all its a very old and trusted bank in Scotland.

As I understand it, Lloyds TSB and HBOS are going to remain 2 separate brands, however the backroom staff will be streamlined. Hence, for the foreseeable future, there will be no changeover for customers.
