Flogas 'gas surcharge'

Just had one worried Mum on the phone. She's just received her LP gas bill from Flogas showing a 'gas surcharge' of 5p per litre. As it's a winter bill the surcharge alone is over fifty quid without the 34p per litre for the actual gas ! Would Mum have received a letter letting her know about the gas surcharge? Are all LP gas suppliers charging this surcharge ? I would be grateful for some advice so I am armed with some comforting information ( if possible) for Mum when I see her next week. Many thanks in advance.......

i pay 30p per litre with listers, no surcharge yet!

30p a litre is alot cheaper! Is Listers a company local to you or do they trade nationwide ?

I've received an e-mail From a company called Countrywide and they are selling LPG for 25p a litre with no surcharge, but I need to check if its just an introductory offer. But still, its a fantastic price though. Flogas are just ripping people off !
