Well that should teach him to be absent :rotfl:kathfisch wrote:No no, go ahead and blame him freely
especially when he's not here :rotfl:
I was nervous too but they are a really welcoming bunch over there. It was great for a bit of light relief and for good entertainment :rotfl:kathfisch wrote:Don't worry bout hijacking moozie, was great fun and laughs :rotfl: Besides, I'm getting it back on track again now!! Did you have a trip to the arms in the end? I might venture over but am a bit nervous
kathfisch wrote:Moozie, palescene, looking ahead et al... "age is just a convenient way for society to measure time". Not sure where I saw that but think its quite nice.
I like that, thank you.
Glad to see you decided to share. Look forward to seeing your figureskathfisch wrote:Thanks for your support all, I will definitely put my totals in my sig as soon as I can figure out what they are!!
I found it quite liberating once I was brave enough to 'publicize' my mess. I know your figures are nothing like mine but I hope having them on your signature will make you even more determined than what you are - if that's possible!

I might head over to the arms tonight then, this board is the reason I'm addicted to this forum but some light relief will be welcome! No offence meant to any DFWs :rolleyes:
I think sharing is in the spirit of the board really isn't it, and it doesn't take as much courage from me as it must have for many others, I am well aware that I should appreciate how lucky I am!
Will do the totals in the next few days, watch this space!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

Hey D&DD
I could not tell, you sound like a very young 'un!
It's great to form friendships and come on here for more than debt advice - I don't think iot would work so well otherwise.

He he, I am an eldest daughter but you're unlikely to be my mum unless she's changed a lot lately :rotfl: Wouldn't know what an internet forum was if it jumped up and bit her :rotfl: (sorry mum if you're reading this
)
I can't even persuade her to put her savings in an isa, she can't be a Mad Maverick MoneySaving Maniac :rotfl:
Interesting, though, to wonder whether we actually know anyone on this forum but don't realise it!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

It wouldnt suprise me in the least, i have refered 'real life' people to the website and of course, my user name doesnt hide much does it?kathfisch wrote:Interesting, though, to wonder whether we actually know anyone on this forum but don't realise it!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Neither does mine, being my full name minus a letter or three (not very wise perhaps?!). I don't really say anything I wouldn't want anyone knowing; my family know about my spending (and now saving), I wouldn't mind my friends knowing it all and the rants about my ex, well they're nothing compared to what I've said to her face :rolleyes:
I've met people in shops etc who also collect £2 coins and have wanted to ask if they're part of our club but then I realise how weird that would sound if they weren't, and so I chicken out :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
