Thankfully their attitude has rubbed off on me, albeit with a momentary lapse :rotfl:
See thats really weird. My mum and dad never had a lot of money when we were growing up. We never went without anything things were certainly tight. That said, neither of them have ever had any sort of credit in their lives (except mortgage) which was paid off before I was born!
I was always the one though that had to spend any money I got! I could never save it for something I wanted. If I had money it was there to be spent! Think I was destined for debt from an early age! :rotfl:0 -

Well that blows me theory right out the water :rotfl:
Its funny how different people respond to similar circumstances isn't it.
The thing is now that I've found this site I've become the one teaching my parents about money! I finally persuaded them to move their savings to an isa, at last  !! Discovered that it was all in a savings account paying 3% interest and they were paying tax  And i've told them all about the stoozing they could do with their fantastic credit score but somehow I don't think its gonna happen!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

Good for you! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
