Second load of washing on the line (bar about 2 pairs of socks) and I'm off for a walk into town to cash that cheque. Once I get back, I might see if I can get a third lot out and dry before it goes dark. It's predicting rain for the rest of this week so I want to get as much washing done as I can today while the sun's out.

i gave big g strict instructions to get my washing out today.... he's home today as has been sick this weekend....

^^^ that is actually about as much sympathy as he's had off me this weekend, poor lad!
I meant to mention, Spud, i went cyber purple again this weekend.... i'm getting very into this LIVE colour thigns... I'm sure beanie will vouch for me, tis very purple this time!!! must be cause it's a 2nd lot... and i didn't realise there was a different procedure for regrowth application, so just slathered it all over for 30 minutes as i did the first time! lol!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Gahhhhh......I've finally got through to someone at Parent Partnership and asked if they'd made any progress with arranging a meeting with the school, only to be told the person I need to speak to isn't in today at all.
That will be why she hasn't been replying to my messages then.
I told the person I spoke to that Ryan is due back into school tomorrow, and her attitude was a bit 'well if his exclusion is over, what's the problem', but when I explained, slightly tersely, she sounded a bit more concerned and said she would get the woman who is dealing with it to ring me first thing.
So Ryan will have a day of unauthorised absence on his file tomorrow - but to be honest, I really don't care if it means we can get this sorted out."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Snags, it looks like you are being fobbed off. I think giving him an extra day off school to sort this out will make all the difference. It shows you are taking a stance. I hope it all goes well *hugs*
Off topic ~ Can anyone tell me if this is right? 53541.00 = fifty three thousand, five hundred and forty pounds? So if that figure then reduced to 52764.00 you would lose seven hundred and seventy seven pounds?0 -

I had a letter on Saturday from the bank confirming a verbal appointment with the bank manager to phone for a chat at 3 today.
Perhaps he can't tell the time.
