Gem, you and your money. Its only a level one but the way its taught/written is so strange to me. Unsure if thats just because I learn in a different way or what? So glad he is not bothering you now. Are there anymore on the horizon?

I find the OU teaching really odd actually, not sure if other people who've studied at a brick uni do too. It's very spoon-fed and I'm not used to being tied that tightly to a question's spec, so having a similar issue to you.

Yeah but I'm keeping it very relaxed. I can't get over the one I can't have. :o:rolleyes:

Thats what I am finding, also they seem to like to hammer home certain points. So for instance I read about the same article 5 times in 8 pages  I havent studied in a b&m uni but I have at college in a sink or swim environment. So this is a bit too in your face :o However as long as it gets the job done.

Good luck with that then, ahhh there will come a day Gem, its heard but you will get over him.

It gets easier, you just have to wait till he's put you through 8 months of sheer hell, messed with your head until you think you're losing your mind, convinced you that it's actually all your fault, made you cry on an almost daily basis until your eyelids blistered and then taunted you with a string of new girlfriends.

THEN it starts to get easier to get over them. :o

Had to read 3 times before I read it properly

Squirriel, think of the course as some extra insite. I guess you may want to learn to drive in the future? Enjoy your OU course, I bet your will pass with flying colours :T

Thanks PAP! The car course was really interesting, the guy teaching it was so enthusiastic and good at explaining things, I actually found myself interested in different types of oil and screen wash percentages :rotfl:Yep I might learn to drive one day - never really had much need to but you never know.

Have done some OU courses in the past, as well as some "normal" Uni - am only one course short of getting my degree so really should get on with it. Having done both I know what you mean Gemmzie about the teaching methods, there is a lot of learning how to do things the 'OU way' I think.
