    embb - kitten on the work tops, make it clear the first time that it is not acceptable - say No, remove it, dump it on the floor - no stroking, dump it unceremoniously if need be, and make sure the rest of the family know to do the same. If they get away with it once they think it is ok as long as you aren't looking, ditto going upstairs. I also suggest dry food for no smell (we have the orange Iams stuff which is fairly unscented and easily digested, there is a kitten version) and the white crystal litter tray stuff which absorbs smells (Dr Martins Crystals I think - is about £4 but lasts for weeks). Good luck.

    AArrgghhh...someone mentioned Lakeland on another thread and I've now decided I can't live without half the stuff on their site!!

    I'm tempted to buy their elec bulk yoghurt maker instead of my easiyo which doesn't seem to make very smooth yog, the potato and mushroom etc bags which my friend in switzerland has, plus an oven thermometer and a gravy separator. Hmm, I think I might take a trip to our nearest store asap.

    I love lakeland stuff to Rach. We went to the one in Windermere a few years ago i was so glad the credit card had been left at home !!!!

    ZCC hope you are going to make some corsages? There are not enough corsages in the world. In fact if there was a battle between good and evil, corsages would be righteous, and fascinators would be evil...do i sound a bit mad?

    I can understand corsages, but fascinators? Why on earth would anyone want a silly bit of frippery stuck to the side of their head?:confused: If you must, then go the whole hog and get a hat!

    valli you've only given me 4 stars!!!

    My DS is so lovely. He heard me telling DH that it's going to be a tight week moneywise until pay day - so he went upstairs and got some money out of his money box and insisted I take it! It's not the first time he's done it, and he won't take no for an answer - so I just sneak it back into his moneybox when he's not looking!

    DH is watching Bear Gorilla atm. Why :confused:
  • Michelle glad i could help a teeny bit. wish me luck am going for interview on thurs at a new school (maybe?)

    justamum I couldn't agree more! you are on the side of the righteous! Anyway, if ZCC makes a load of corsages, she can sell them to the 100 -quid -for- the -year clothes challenge people, since accessories dont count, and we are now "recessionistas"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    Have you tried shrinking modern crisp packets? I wouldn't have though it would work because they're not made out of the same stuff as when we were younger. I never got round to actually shrinking any, but I remember seeing it on a children's programme which Bill Oddie used to do with Michelle Fowler from Eastenders! (the programme where she pronounced Grand Prix wrong!)
