I've just tied to highlight your secret message oddjob :rotfl:there wasn't one.

K, kitchen is now sparkly, DW on WM half loaded, big pans done in sink, need to hoover. cat cleaned up after, cleaned the bowl, supplied with fresh water and dried food (at least that doesn't smell) and mopped up 'tray spillages', opened the curtains and the window in the living room and had a quick tidy in there. Off upstairs now to do beds etc.

Hi embb have you thought about getting one of those covered cat trays so they can't miss as such and the separate so they are easy to clean.

Just a thought but bear in mind if you get a covered cat tray when the cat goes in a basket or a covered over bed it may wee / poo in that as well.

You can get litter that removes the odours and it is better done in the litter tray than in the garden for kids to find as the always do.

Talking of stinky catfood. I fed my cat the other day and my mate came in. She thought i was cooking a pie for tea!!! must admit it did smell nice.

OK HHC i emptied the wm and loaded up the clothes horse. Looks a bit like rain and i can't be bothered with the on the line off the line trauma today. 2 phonecalls and a race for the piston cup and that was my HHC.

    Another HHC at 10-10:30 anyone?

I would class it as this week grateful. My flying week starts on Monday and finishes Sunday.

I am just wondering when my flying for this week is going to start. I seem to have done very little :nono:

Of out now. Hopefully Ex will have the children at some point next week so I can have a blitz especially as the following week is half term  Although it is getting easier to do flying when the children are around as DD is a little older now. I can even hoover without her crying :j:j

Soappie – renowned!! I love it!! Are you the batty woman who writes into the local paper lol. Have a lovely holiday.

Pigpen – I hope you get on ok at the Drs and well done to DD1. I’m sorry you aren’t getting any help from the family

Ging – yey!!! Well done on the weight loss :T

Zcc – I’d also be inclined to let them know what’s going on. My family tends to tip toe round me and not tell me things in case I get upset. Mind you, I think patience is running thin. My DA (dear aunt) shouted at me to stop crying the other week, in the nicest possible way of course. Am assuming BD is black dog?

Lil_me – I know its impossible, but can you rest up just a wee bit? Thanks for the itunes info. Will let BF know and see what he can do to back up DD’s stuff

G&B – I know the feeling! But you will have all summer to get the house ship shape

Valli – thank you for looking after the stars. No cheating now mind or I’ll grass you up to toots :rotfl:

Nicki/crafty – I love NCIS too but just can’t keep up with the different series on different channels. Its mad, but my mum and dad got me into watching it. They only started watching it ‘because David McCallum studied medicine at Edinburgh University’ I think they meant Ducky’s character studied at Edinburgh but never mind….

    LL – hugs for you

Rach – good luck vibes for the LO and also your car :A

Well my flying week has gone out of the window. I stupidly agreed to let DD have a party last night so we will all be busy flying. I have mopped the dining floor, but its going to need another go. I also need rubber gloves as mine split during the week and my house has never been so dirty. Who would have thought 60 teenagers would make so much dirt????

Anyway....any thoughts of how to get irn bru out of the LR carpet? I dont normally have the stuff in the house as I'm sure it stains really badly.

Thanks Quillion I did think about a covered litter tray but thought it may be too high for kitty to get into at the moment anyway, although she sure can jump so she may manage it ok :D when this batch of cat litter is finished I will get some that masks the smell, the food we got given with her is Whiskas Fishy ones and I remember I didn't like the smell of that when we had a cat before either, will change it to a meaty one when it's finished. ta x

Text DD1 to see if she fancies a mooch round the shops and brekkie at McDonalds, no reply, she's obviously still in the land of nod.

ETA: she's just text, off out now guys :hello: x

    Morning all

Thanks for the good wishes for my friend. I will let you know any news when I have it. Her DH text to say their 3 year old has gone to his (her DH's) brothers so they only have the 6 month old to look after. I will go over later to collect car and see how they are.

Feel a bit groggy this morning, trying to do an online food shop but can't decide whether to do it for tomorrow or Tues. If I do Tues I'll have to go to Mr S to get a few bits to do a roast tomorrow, but i'll be passing anyway later today.

Hmmm, I appear to be waffling, will stop now.

soappie have a lovely hol, my parents drove very early and just text when getting off the ferry to say it was sunny!
