Have finished all five days - have impressed myself! Of course there will be about 16 extra people here this afternoon/evening for 10yo's birthday party, so it won't last...but never mind. And having been doing what I could over the last few weeks has meant there was a lot less to do today for the final clean-up - yay! :-)

So that's three more stars for me please, Valli - making my first ever full week!
  • In my HHC, I did some ironing - still loads to do. Unloaded wm, reloaded wm, unloaded sheila's maid, reloaded her, opened an invitation to interview - yay!

julejim how did you do? Nice to know I wasn't alone!!!

quillion quiz, mouseracing, ferretracing(had this at our wedding, it was cool!), auction of promises, big breakfast, any of these any good? There must be lost of ferrets in Derbyshire!

    Bravo, blueberrypie!

Hello. Had a really bad night last night and have woken up really exhausted and muzzy headed. Have cancelled all my plans for today, I need to take it easy today. Will try to do gentle flying as I would quite like to finish some of the lists and get some more stars!

Next week won't be a good week for flying as it's really really busy workwise, so flying will be on hold.

Justamum, I know what you mean about your MIL, it would have been much better for her to move sooner. Perhaps she really regrets not doing it before, but maybe she won’t admit that. Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it. It’s a shame that your DH is so stressed, hugs to you both. I hope things get better when/if she moves and has treatment etc

Blueberrypie, sounds like you have a lot of experience in Cubs camping, what great advice that was!

Lady Liberty, so sorry you didn’t get any news today, must be really frustrating as I expect you really want the results. Big hugs to you xx

Hugs Rach to you, your friend, and her family. Hope they find out what is wrong and she gets better soon. Good job you were there with her and she wasn’t on her own with the kids when it happened

DeniseNZ glad you’ve had a good few days

    Have a great holiday Soappie

Grateful and ZCC how do you make keyrings out of crisp packets?

    Hugs Mumofjusttwo and DD

    Hugs Oddjob

Quillion I think that sounds like a great idea for you to do the stars next week if Toots isn’t back. Will you do what Toots does and get post 3?

Yay for Princess Jane! That’s great news, now your muffins/perfume/kitten can relax, they are under threat no longer! When's the party? How does your OH feel when they are there/when they leave?

  • Rosepink can tell you a sweet young thing! You put them under the grill or in the oven, fleetingly, and they shrink and shrivel. Then you punch a hole in one corner. Job done. More of a key fob than a key ring.

Looks like shrunken crisp packets are due for a revival - I'll see how they go down in my Folksy shop!! Ooo, what fun! Talking of which, I need to finish the whole house clean up - only the bedroom to go now, and then I can get a wriggle on with making aprons, dishcloths, finish felted handbag, loads of stuff - need to get organised and make list!

Re t'other issue, Skintscotlass, when I was diagnosed, I told my immediate family, and explained the causes, symptoms, what I needed to do, and answered any questions they had. For a while, it felt like everything was about the illness -constantly questioning and being questioned, as to what was me and what was my illness. Now, I tend to get on with things, trusting in my family and friends, as they are all truly wonderful. Amazing support aside, there are just somethings that need to be battled internally. Cleaning helps - as do all you lovely Flypeeps - your support is much appreciated!!!!

Princessjane, well done for surviving the visit - I know exactly what Rach means re leaving the door open!

Quillion - thanks for taking on Star Duties, I hope to get on there next week! Not much chance this week, I'm afraid....

Rosepink - take it easy, honey.

    blueberrypie - :jYay girl!!

Justamum - go grab one! I wouldn't be without mine. They do boxes of individual throw away bags too, but I like the re-useability (is that a word??) of the Bread Keeper. Hope you get on with it!

    Hugs to all,

Right. Coffee, croissants, dressed - FLY! Up, up and AWAY..............
