Cheering & whooping for you as I cook tea!:D:D

Thanks Cally, you are an :A Your cheering and whooping worked cos I got quite a bit done - have hoovered kitchen floor, and tidied the top of the chest of drawers next to where I sit, which was covered in lots and lots of mess! It's now a bit messy still but only cos I can't fnd anywhere to put the remaining items!

I've decided that will count as the "desk of doom" on the lists.

ETA: Thanks for your cheering too Carol and I hope you feel a bit less bleurgh soon. Have a good time with your friend later

  • ZCC72 can't you tell some of them instead of hiding it? Takes the pressure off.

I have managed to put the dishwasher and washing machine on and sleep for two hours this afternoon. Also had a maddening circular conversation with a dopey union official,:mad::mad: They seem determined not to say a word in case you misquote them later, more interested in butt-covering than doing any actual work. Sorry any union officials here, I am sure you are not like that. They're breeding them in my teaching union though.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

It's called that in our house as well, I think it came from my Dad who also drinks frog's wine & rides Shank's pony!

We don't have frog's wine - it's Adam's ale. But shanks' pony, yes. I wonder who Shanks was

Oooo - blast from the past! We always travelled by shanks pony, and drank Corporation Pop!!

Guess who put their Lakeland bread keeper bag through the tumble drier....:o I daren't go online to get another one, as I am concerned I will buy a Remoska - have been thinking about it for weeks now!

G4H - I think that they can tell! Unfortunately, it's my nature to put a brave face on things, which I agree doesn't always help!

Well done on your solo HHC Rosepink - are you still on your walking challenge? I am doing the Raceforlife this year, so need to get some practice in - I'll join you. Also, my MACAW a while back was to do the Davina DVD, but I haven't got into the habit - I'll be your DVD buddy!!!

I'm off to tackle the smallest room in the house - should only take about 15 minutes, and will then declutter some dinner. Have a great evening all!

PIGPEN - Please listen to everyone on here - we all care about you and you don't sound fine, you need to get this sorted out - speak to people who've had kidney failure if you don't believe us - Look at poor Emily's husband for instant - Do you want to be on Dialysis? You might only need stronger antibugs but please go get checked out because not going to the loo and drinking as much as you are is not right, plus it should have begun to ease up by now as the antibugs you are on should have been kicking in, so obviously they are not the right ones for you. You know we will nag and nag and you can ignore us, but 10 mins down the docs is much better than weeks of pain and illness, let alone if it got worse and you were hospitalised - please go! (Triker is there and she knows what you're like first hand, so if she thinks you should go, you should listen to her...) You nag us when we need it, now is the time to return the favour - we are only doing it because we care you know!
