You've all been working very hard. I've updated the stars to this point. Been out and about. DD phoned and asked if I would follow her to the garage to drop her car in for MOT and drop her back home again. I did - ending up spending 5 minutes just to get out of my road because of the blasted roadworks.

Then did Mr. T's for holiday food shopping and a couple of books (if the weather's like it is at the moment, we'll not be going anywhere!). Then remembered I'm almost out of dog poop bags (my council gives out biodegradable ones for free) so popped in the library to get a couple of packs. Meant I had to negotiate the roadworks twice more! So I'm only just home. Having a cuppa then need to sort out the shopping and get something to eat - I seemed to have missed out on breakfast and I'm starving.

Then I've got to start packing :D

Thanks everyone for letting us know about Toots, hope she will soon be on the mend. Bit worried that she’s got to go to hospital, but am glad they are looking after her.

Penpen, thanks for updating the title of the thread, really helpful as I could never remember where the stars are!

Pigpen, I beg to differ, from what you’ve said you are not fine, and you do need to go to the doctors. Please go, NOW. If I had a fluffy mule I would throw at you, the best I can do is a pink slipper! Please don't wait, as the others have said you could end up in hospital or with permanent damage if you don't act now

I've taken DH his headphones and a chicken sandwich, I've been to the surgery and 2 chemists, was supposed to go to the post office to post a card to a friend who moved to Canada, but I'd forgotten to write her address on the envelope  I don't think just putting her name there will be enough somehow!

Have just had lunch, am having a rest for a mo before tackling the lists. I really need to catch up today as we have visitors tomorrow, with small children, so I definately need to hoover and get things ready. We've decided to cheat and get something really easy for lunch from a shop!

I second that. You don't want to end up with kidney failure and on dialysis do you? Sorry to be alarmist, but kidney infections can get SERIOUS!!!!!

I know from experience! I ended up with 3 serious kidney infections in the space of 2 months which included a short time in hospital. I'm terrified of hospitals after my Poppa died from MRSA in intensive care. Dr's kindly waited till I was recovering to tell me the infections were as serious as pneumonia and I could of died or had serious damage if I hadn't got them treated! So please go see a Dr if you are still in pain. Take someone with you if you have to, I had my mum and a big fluffy dog with me when I went into hospital and I was 18 at the time!!! I got some strange looks but once the Dr's were aware of my fear they were very understanding, one even made a joke about my blood pressure as it was very high. Sorry to nag on my first post here, plenty of fluids like everyone suggests and try to use paracetamol instead of ibuprofen, apparently it can affect the kidneys)

Please go and see a Dr pigpen, it is well worth doing, it's why I'm still here :)

Hoovering done, lunch scoffed. WM back on, first wash in and dry. Just need to give my linens a quick press and then off to invigilate - it'll be boring - 2 kids, nearly 2 hours but hey the cash will be appreciated

just been to my mums and had yummy home made soup and brought back little babies...
    cabbages; lettuces and marigolds:D:D:D:D

    moan alert

on my way there the recycling lorry was blocking the road so I held back and waited...and some moron in a picasso tried to PULL OUT TO PASS ME - I have NO IDEA where he thought he was going to go as the road was BLOCKED by a BIG BLUE LORRY...

second time this week - earlier this week I was driving down a narrowish road with cars parked all down the other side (so my right of way, technically) and a BIG WHITE TRUCK was coming down on my side so I stopped and waited and the idiot behind me started honking his horn - there was NO WAY I could move forward - I was hardly going to bulldoze my way through. I know it was my right of way but the lorry couldn't stop to let me pass because he couldn't pull in...grrr

anyhow beds have been stripped and airing so I am going to go and make them now...

    hello all.
Monday to Friday lists all done.

I'm feeling really down today, cant be bothered with anyone. So I've been upstairs finishing master bedroom and doing kids room, all on my own!! Best thing for me when I get like this!
Council fellas have been and I now have sparkly new front and back doors in the house!
Really dont want to go to work today, but its the last week before pay day and I cant affor to lose the wages! Just not in a 'being around people' mood today.... So if you shopping in Morrisons, Jarrow between 4 and 9pm... DO NOT come to my checkout hehe!!
