    Hi everyone,

Just a wee question from a newbie! I posted yesterday to say I was going to start today (cos just found thread), so do I start with Wobbly Wednesday and post tomorrow if I complete it?! :o Am I right in saying that if I complete it I get a star but what happens if I don't get it done til say Friday? I think I will re-read the first thread, just getting confused cos people have different lists!

Dying to get home now to get on with the list :D

I've been getting more and more worried about toots as I've been reading through the thread. Luckily I have access to a car at the moment, so I could nip up there fairly quickly.

I have PMd Toots as i have to go to Perth either Thurs or Fri but not heard anything back from her, could all who are in touch (anw or ss) let her know and then pass back to me if i can be of any help (ie shopping, ferrying her some place or generally just having a cuppa together and a chat)

Flying wise not done much have been working and the studying.

going to tackle the LR shortly and then hopefully the bathroom tonight.

anw mum - that house is not far from me but just a tiny bit outside budget (i wish)

Hi Swinstie, you have til Sunday to complete all the lists, it doesn't matter which days it is. Just post when you have done one of the lists and you will get a star.
Don't worry about other people's lists, some of us change things to better suit our own homes.
Keep asking if you need to know things, but try not to do too much to start with as you will get fed up quickly! Just try to do level one in each room over the first few weeks, and you will see a difference. Then build up gradually as you can, and things will get easier to do the more you do them. Just do babysteps to start with!

Start from today, don't worry about Monday and Tuesday, those rooms will come round again next week

    HTH

HHI turned into an hour but.....ITS ALL DONE!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I can only cross off an extra from todays list but at least when I move the ironing from the lounge it'll make the lounge look tidier and then I can clear the lounge.

Off to get DD2 up...she's just woken up and move my washing. Will get a bit more done from the list then.

Before I go....anyone have any ideas on how to get a washed in red wine stain out of a white linen shirt? (clumsy DH!!)

Isn't the world an odd place, you can buy gas from your electricity provider and vice versa, you can get internet and phones from your tv people, and you can buy hearing aids from specsavers.

    Who'da thunk it?

The only thing that I'd suggest is soaking the shirt in a solution of very hot water, washing powder and bleach for a few hours & see if this fixes it. The stained part usually starts to lift out by going grey but it means its working. I've used this on white cotton & linen with a fair success rate in the past - 3 boys in white cotton school shirts ;)

Thanks very much. I'll give this a try tonight.

I can now see the lounge floor. Who'd have thought it was carpeted??!!

Will now get on with the vacuuming while DD2 eats her tea. No idea what DH and I will be eating!
