I've been getting more and more worried about toots as I've been reading through the thread. Luckily I have access to a car at the moment, so I could nip up there fairly quickly.
I've been very worried too, things must be quite bad for her not to be online at all. Let us know if you do go up, it would really put my mind at rest to know someone's keeping an eye on her :A

Have had a lovely morning with my mum, we went for a walk at a fairly local NT garden, and the drive there was beautiful! The garden itself was too, lots of blossom and flowers everywhere! Despite the rain, we had a really good time.

Have spent the afternoon browsing the web looking for part time or temporary work. I just don't seem to be getting enough hours from the job I have now, and really just need to add another string to my bow. Then I looked at my work phone and saw I had a message telling me I've got two days training in one of the extra care units next week! Yay! :j

Soappie, I’m sure nobody is upset by you taking over, I’m very grateful! I think it’s great that you were about to step into the breach!

Greenbee, hope you managed to do your CV, it’s not a fun job!

Carol, I’ve not got the leaflet yet either

AnW’s mum, I saw that program too, I’ve never had a problem getting off before but last night had terrible trouble getting to sleep! The relaxation tip was good tho, and definitely helped me to get to sleep. What a fab treehouse! I’m jealous!

Princess Jane, you’ve done really well with the inlaws, not long to go now!

Lady Liberty I really hope the scan is all clear, it’s good they are taking such good care of you. Remember we will all be there holding your hand, whatever the outcome xx

Welcome to the thread Tillybilly. Toots will welcome you properly when she’s feeling better

Pigpen, that’s a lot for you to deal with, hope you are soon on the mend. Remember to drink lots. Sounds like you went to the docs, really pleased and hope that what they gave you will help

Hugs Mudbath and to your DD, must have been worrying to be sent straight to hospital like that.

Haven't done any flying today :o apart from taking some old bedding to the clothes recycling place this morning and posting some letters! It is decluttering!

Better go and find a list I guess!

    Afternoon all

School run finished, also been to pilates aswell as town and library - just going to make another cuppa and then I feel like some scones!

Cricket at 5:30 until goodness knows when, I'll need thermals and ski wear I think! I've kindly brought two pints of milk to take up there and then if the kitchen is open I can make all the parents cups of tea.

Back from our walk and we're both pooped. I took a jacket because it threatened rain and now I'm too hot. The dog is snoring on the bed - she's in doggy heaven because as we walked back, the schools were kicking out so she got lots and lots of fuss from all sorts of children.

    In my HHC, I:
    • decluttered the LR floor, including putting loads of paper in a bag to make it easier to take it to recycle later
    • did battle with one of those carrier bags that are supposed to fold up into nothing and go into a little pouch that clips to your bag (how do you fold them up??),
    • started a load of washing, and
    • had a phone conversation with DH
    • ETA: Just remembered, put away the washing up from yesterday
Doesn’t look like much :o hence the bullet points! Thought it would make it look like I did more!
