Cheap handset, no contract?

I'm currently on O2, sim only.

I have an old Sony K750 handset, which has seen much happier days.

I need a new handset but don't want to be locked into a new contract, so can anyone recommend anywhere I can get a new last gen handset at a decent price?

Everything seems geared towards latest handsets...
