Last year we bought a Dove bathwash set with a scrunchy washing thing (can't think of the name for it) so she could 'relax' after end of term.
It was most appreciated by the teacher and bit different from flowers and chocs.0 -

When I helped out at school, at the end of term the children all presented me with a large card they had made and signed, thanking me for helping with all the craft projects. I was really touched and still have it now 20 years later.
When I ran the Beaver group I was actually very surprised and grateful to be given some presents from the children. I didn't expect anything. From having kids myself and knowing all the buying parents have to do even just a thankyou is appreciated.
From the other side of the coin, a few weeks ago I emailed the high school thanking the teachers for all the extra revision sessions they put on for the GCSE's . My son said that the teachers were really pleased and had printed it off and put it in the staff room. I hope I spelt everything right!!!Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
