I have just started entering the postal comps, I have entered around 22 in the past 2 weeks. Just curious how high the win ratio is with postal comps. People who enter postal comps have you been lucky with then, in if so is it often due to less people entering them??

I am yet to win on one !!

I've been doing postals since end of June/beginning of July time and I've had a couple of small wins, three I think.

I usually enter ones for more than one prize or things I really want. Now there's serveral where you can enter multiple comps in the same envie I shall be entering more competetions and I suspect a lot of people will be doing the same.

I don't do text/phone entries so this is the only time I spend money on competitions and it's paid off ok so far.
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20

ooh gosh, lots of people on here have won on the postals, ppd, princessmoneysaver, etc, there's quite a few in IWIWIW, Matryoshka is very lucky with them :D
i've won quite a lot from them,
think maybe it's just the luck of the draw, same as most comps icon7.gif

Replies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you
  • Once you've joined you just click on the competition title you want to enter. Then under you're sign in name there's a upload button where you go on to add pics, and/or video content. Lisa

    Regarding Girl Talk comps....
I know there is a problem with emails getting returned at the minute but just to let everyone know I have phoned the enquiry line & left a message so hopefully it will be restored by Monday. I think this applies to all the BBC mags for the email entries as it is the same publisher for the Doctor Who comps posted by princessmoneysaver, emails also getting returned. HTH :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Hi

I used to enter comps and did really well but just don't seem to have the time anymore:rolleyes: Anyway some of my best wins were from postal comps/free prize draws, including a £2000 range cooker:T which I still use everyday and takes pride of place in my kitchen:D I won this by simply sending a postacard to BBC Good Food mag. Other items I've won from postal comps inc £1000 of Sainsburys vouchers, mobile phones, fridge with years supply of drinks, £300 worth of power tools to name just a few. All of these just required a simpl postcard:D I have only ever won one tie breaker comp (rubbish at these:o)my prize was a stay at a very posh country club with hubby - it was fantastic! It was a comp run by nestle wholewheat cereal & nescafe coffee, and my tie breaker was "Both provide the perfect start - stimulating taste and healthy heart":o well it did the trick:rotfl:
Feb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)
    Diet starts today(31/12/16)! Only 18lbs to lose:eek:

    4/2/16 - 13lbs to lose:D
    11/2/16 - 12lbs to lose:D
    3/3/16 - 11lbs to lose:D
  • Can anybody help please? Is it a trick question "How long has Ray {Clive Owen} worked for MI6?" as we know he was working for them 5 years ago but that doesn't really answer the Question.Thank you eileenamcc

Im not sure where the best place to put this, but if we could start some sticky or a post which doesn't keep moving down into the wilderness, could people post twitter feeds they follow for competitions?

If i start it off with my favorite:
    http://twitter.com/Competitions_UK

They seem to update often and have good competitions

Anyone else got any to share?
